I am a graduate student in the M.S. Statistics program at Arkansas State University and a research assistant in the lab of Dr. Sudeepa Bhattacharyya located in the Arkansas Biosciences Institute.
News
March 2025: I have successfully defended my master’s thesis titled ‘A Spatial Modeling Framework for Identifying Multidimensional Risk Factors of Colorectal Cancer’.
November 2024: I have successfully defended my master’s thesis proposal.
October 2024: Gave an oral presentation at the American Public Health Association (APHA) meeting in Minneapolis! In the Geospatial Pattern and Spatial Analysis subsection of the Applied Public Health Statistics section, titled ‘Spatial Modeling Highlights Risk Factors of Colorectal Cancer in US Counties’.
August 2024: I’ve spent the last 10 weeks working as an ORISE intern in the lab of Dr. Wen Zou in the Division of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at the FDA’s National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) in Jefferson, AR.
November 2023: Gave an oral presentation at the American Public Health Association (APHA) meeting in Atlanta! In the Biostatistics and Data Analytics subsection of the Applied Public Health Statistics section, titled ‘Addressing Colorectal Cancer Disparities in Arkansas: Insights From a Study of Social Determinants of Health and Survival Analysis’.
May 2023: Graduated with my bachelor’s degree in math and a minor in statistics from Arkansas State University! I’ll be attending A-State again in the fall for my master’s.
